Martial Arts Program

Our martial arts classes have been producing black belts since 1996. Our style, Jinwha Jeonsa Do is a combination of Taekwondo, Hapkido and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as numerous other styles.

Greg Segui, our chief instructor has almost forty years experience in the martial arts. Having multiple black belts has allowed him to form a unique style that focuses on self defense from a standing as well as a grounded position.

Jinhwa Jeonsa Do translates to “Way of the Evolving Warrior”. Our style is constantly evolving and changing. Techniques taught are the same for children as well as adults. It is a combination of speed and athleticism that can be learned at any age.

Our child classes are for children 5 to 12 years old. Adult classes are for ages 13 and up. Our ranking system is the same as numerous other martial arts styles. A student starts at white belt progressing to yellow, green, blue, red and black belts. There are three stripes between each belt and students are evaluated every six weeks on their progress, earning a stripe  or belt.

The martial arts are great for children and adults as it teaches courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit. These are our clubs 5 tenets. Students also learn responsibility as well as respect in a fun and positive environment.

Our martial arts program is endorsed by numerous school teachers in our area. We have promoted well over 150 black belts that have gone on to do outstanding endeavours in their adult lives.

We welcome all enquiries and offer 2 weeks of free classes to try our program before you make a commitment. Our class days are Monday and Wednesdays. New child students at 6pm and adults at 8pm. Classes run from September to June following the school season. We offer limited private lessons in the summer to students who wish to progress through the summer months.
